This is a really fun session just for kids. All ages are welcome (though babies should be able to sit unassisted). I work with your child one-on-one to capture lots of different expressions that collectively showcase his or her quirky, beautiful, unique personality. These are meticulously edited portrait photos (i.e. vertical images).

I can do these from my home (near Winton Woods) or we can reserve a studio for an additional cost.

The session itself will last 30 minutes, but you'll have access to the studio (or my home) 10 minutes before your session to get your kids ready. You can choose different backdrops, and outfit changes are allowed. I usually recommend one outfit that the parent picks, and one outfit chosen entirely by the child (anything goes).

After the session, you'll receive a preview gallery. You'll review all the images and choose which 20 photos you want to keep. Extras can be purchased at $5/image. (If your child is not cooperative during your session, that's okay. But there is a chance I won't have more than 20 photos to choose from. So I do not guarantee extras.)

Headshot sessions can be done at your workplace, a local library, a park, your house, or even my house. Or, for an additional fee, we can rent a studio.

I do have a couple of backdrops (white or beige) and softbox lighting if we need it.

Yes. 50% of your session cost is due at booking.

For individual sessions, if you need to reschedule for any reason (including illness), your rescheduled session must take place within two weeks of your original date. If you do not rebook within a two-week time frame, I will keep your retainer to offset the lost business.

If you reserved a studio for your session, we must give the studio 24 hours' notice in order to reschedule without penalty.

Extra images (if available) can be purchased from your preview gallery for $5 an image.

After your session, I sort through your images and choose my favorites. Those photos get edited and uploaded with a watermark to an online preview gallery.

You'll click through the photos and choose which images you want to download and keep. Your session will include a certain number of digital downloads (at no extra cost) but you'll have the option to buy extra images at $5 an image if you want. Once you finish making your selections, you'll automatically receive an email with a link to download your photos without the watermark.

If it’s going to rain during your session, we will reschedule. I always watch the hourly forecast and will encourage you to wait until the last possible minute to make this decision with me as the weather in Cincinnati is horribly unpredictable.

This really depends on the purpose of your session. I will work with you via email to help you with styling, if needed. If you go to my website's navigation, I have a page full of wardrobe advice.

Yes. I utilize the very best editing technology as well as my 10 years of experience to remove temporary blemishes like pimples, scratches, uneven skin tones, drool, and bruises, but I will not distort your physical appearance in any way or alter clothing. If you have any requests, please let me know in advance.

Things to consider: Try to choose clothes that do not wrinkle easily. If you have a pet that sheds, use a lint roller before your session or choose a shirt color that will hide the hair. Use hair clips, headbands, or hair product to keep flyaways out of your eyes. Remove chipped nail polish, faded temporary tattoos, etc.

Wear clothing that you feel is flattering on your body type and that you feel good in. It's more important to feel confident in the moment than to rely on editing.

Galleries will be sent via email within 2 weeks of your session unless otherwise noted. You can expect a longer wait time in October and November as those are my busiest months.

You can print your photos directly from your online gallery! Click "Print Store" in the upper right hand corner, or use the shopping bag icon next to your images to order prints from one of my favorite high quality print labs (Mpix). I offer all kinds of sizes and paper options.

If you want to print your photos on your own, I personally recommend uploading your images to Mpix.com.

I do not photograph birthday parties but I can come before your event to take posed portraits with family and friends and document your decor. And I do photograph first communions, baptisms, and adoptions when requested (pricing ranges from $150-$250 depending on the scope). Please email me to discuss.

I do not currently offer photography for sports or dance/cheerleading teams. I'm open to it, but it's not something I have specific experience in. Feel free to email me to discuss if you think I would be a good fit.
