ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY
Photographing large family groups is always a challenge but one that I meet happily each time! I know how hard it is to get everyone in one place and to keep spirits high when a lot has to come together. That's why I always try to keep the focus on having fun as a family and less on being perfect so that the time you have together is actually enjoyable. This family did such a great job adapting and being patient with the kids, and I especially appreciated that they came prepared with bubbles, toys, and snacks!
These beloved grandparents actually got married at Ault Park several years ago, so it was really special to meet back here with all of their grandkids in tow. We had the most beautiful evening light!
When groups have a lot of little kids, I really try to encourage them to let candid moments unfold and be okay with less posed photos. These photos of play and spontaneous laughter are pure gold.
